Welcome to The Garden. Here’s what’s growing at the moment…
Yes, rhubarb, rhubarb and more rhubarb.
Be careful when accepting gifts from your in-laws, they can end up as Triffids.
This particular crown began in The New Forest with Mr B’s grandparents. Then went on to Winchester with his parents and has now reached either end of our Test Valley village. It does take up space, so not ideal for a small garden, but I wouldn’t be without it. Apart from being delicious, rhubarb is spectacularly sculptural and just goes on and on, not knowing when to stop – a real party girl, a plant after my own heart.

Hi Mrs B
The Triffid is spreading its tenticles, it is also in Scunthorpe!!
Love the Blog.
THE WINCHESTER BEES.
Thanks for the comment, Winchester Bees and glad you like. You’ll be pleased to know said Triffid has perked up following all this rain, it certainly is a thirsty thing! XX
